Wilsson Brothers AB Revolutionizes Motorsport Broadcasting with Advanced Remote Control Technology

Wilsson Brothers AB, a leading company in IP-based remote production, has successfully conducted a live broadcast of the Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia from Jyllandsringen in Denmark. The company utilized the advanced FR-1 Fluid Remote Pan Bar System from RCT, three Panasonic AW-UE160 cameras, and several standard broadcast cameras for the remote production.

During the production, the director and camera operators were on-site in Denmark, while all heavy broadcast tech, graphics operator, audio engineer, shading, technicians, and replay operators were based in Sweden. This innovative remote control technology from RCT enabled a smooth and high-quality broadcast, despite replacing several standard cameras with PTZ cameras and the FR-1 system.
